This podcast was recorded live 020812 following the 32|64 Bit Tournament II Top Seeds II Show and scheduled to be released 021512 due to us not being able to do a live show that WED. This was suppose to be a bottom seeds show for this tournament however JJosh Whelchel crashed the Party with his Indy Game Music Bundle II Release Show. This was a fun show as Will8Bitx, Josh Whelchel, and Radio Free Gamer host Justin Johnston explain and go over this charity even.
We did not have enough time last show to finish off the Possible #1 Seeds of this up and coming tournament so this podcast we bring you the rest of the games that may make this seeding. We cover Super Smash Bros. [N64], Mario Kart 64 [N64], Gran Turismo [PSX], Golden Eye 007 [N64], Resident Evil [PSX], and Final Fantasy VII [PSX].
Oh yes it is Tournament Time! It wont start until February 29th however we must do a few shows before hand to introduce to you the bracket. As scheduled, we bring to you our 8BitX-perience of Magfest 10. We start off the podcast with an amazing interview with Random Encounter fresh off of their Magfest performance as well and then we go into songs from Random Encounter and Descendants of Erdrick. We planned on doing more coverage however were invaded in the Chatroom by most members of Those Who Fight and had an all out listening party from this band. The magic of live radio, you never know what will happen. What a Show!
Coming off an amazing Magfest 10 trip we didn't have enough time to properly cover the experience so we wanted to take this week as a gather info for next show and do a relaxing request night. The topic for this week was The Legend Of Zelda. Due to our hectic topic schedule we never got to proper celebrate LOZ 25 Years, this was our chance.
This is our first ever New Years Eve Preview Party Show as we kick off right before the celebration. We also mark the fact that we will not be here the following week due to MAGFEST 10! Listen to this podcast as we bring you Magfest 9 all over again with flair of drinking towards the New Year!
Xmas 2011: 122111

This show was kind of spur of the moment due to my vacation to the Bahamas. Will throws together a Final Fantasy VII Request Night and has a scheduled interview with Pat of a new podcast that is being added to our network called The Jurassic Hour – http://gameosaurus.com/roahr/category/the-jurassic-hour/

A year later, probably one of the most significant years in gaming in which the sophomore year is born. The first year of the Nintendo Entertainment System was a success, can they repeat? Athletes go through this every year, having an impact rookie year hoping not to disappoint the next one..well the NES did not drop the ball. Again, we discuss a few. We bring to you Ghost ‘N Goblins, 1942, GumShoe, Commando, Gradius, Karate Champ, Urban Champion among others. We also had a great interview with Randy from Elder-Geek.com about the upcoming charity drive on 11.11.11.
**Bonus! Hear some of Dom and Adam from Magfest.org do a live charity drive for the Earthquake/Flooding in Japan last year.
One of the most significant years in Gaming History, 1985, a time in which home video games were at a breaking point due to failed companies before it. The Nintendo Entertainment System busts out a new console with 18 new launch titles, we discuss a few. We bring to you Kung Fu, Duck Hunt, Excite Bike, Pinball, Hogan’s Alley, Super Mario Bros. and even R.O.B. The Robot along with a few more. Sit back, relax and enjoy the excitement we bring back from the year..1985!
**Bonus! Hear Danimal Cannon – Jonathan Coulton Diss Rap ft. Armcannon before the podcast begins.
If you are keeping track to this page you will notice we have skipped a week. In one of the most devastating moves that you normally always pack in your arsenal, the uppercut. A move that will get you back into the fight, knock out your opponent, or simply..finish him during the fight. We bring you 5 of our favorite uppercuts featuring those from Double Dragon, Battle Toads, Mike Tyson’s Punch Out! Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter II.
Every now and then we take a break from our topics to relax with a request driven song playlist provided by the chatroom. Tonights requests however derived from Video Game Bands. This topic showed off to be a hit as there are just so many great songs by these talented bands and artists that we could hardly cover in 2 hours. Here great songs from ArmCannon, A_Rival, BrentalFloss, This Place iS Haunted, Decendants of Erdrick, MegaRan, Beefy & The Grammar Club, The One UPs and more...this topic will definatley be reran at a later point of time.
Wow, Congrats to Secret of Mana, sorry to spoil it but the best is to join us live. Secret of Mana outlasts 63 game to enter into the 8BitX Hall of fame joining these other games: Contra[NES], Street Fighter II[SNES], Zelda[N64], & Super Mario 3[NES]. The only non-spoiler is how it won. Listen as executive challanges are raised in a way we may never see anymore due to new rules.
The Final 4 is here in the 16Bit 2 Tournament. The 4 games that are squaring off in tonights show are Secret of Mana Vs Super Mario Rgp | Earthbound Vs Super Metroid. The first matchup went down easier than expected and then the drama began in the 2nd hour when the Earthbound fans went up agains anti Super Metroid due to TenchuX screwing them previously. This podcast also includes Cyril_the_Wolf reading the creapy craigslist due to Rob's hotel not having proper internet. As a bonus at the end of the show you will here the entire set from Rare Candy from Magfest 9. ***Recorded by JMR***
In an unexpected turn of events, the RPG games nearly ran the table. Just about every game that was a non RPG went up against an epic RPG that was left remaining. Super Mario Kart gets shut down and will not return to the Championships as it lost to Street Fighter II last time. Click the podcast to hear how it went down along with the amazing finish of The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past Vs Super Metroid.
Well we took a week off to relax on our vacation and come back strong to reminding you of the happneings of the tournament from Block 01 - Block 08 meaning...64 Games were introduced to us in the beginning...only 8 games are left. Find out the paths these games took to get here and which Final 8 games will go up against each other to leave us with 1 going into the 8BitX Hall Of Fame.***At the end of the Podcast is the Full X-Hunters Set from Magfest 2011 recorded by JMR***
Due to certian situations we needed to skip the 080311 show so we bring you the Down The Shore Show 2011. Our annual trip to WildWood, NJ is an epic adventure of ours at 8BitX. We bring you the NES games, Boardwalk games, and Pinball games along with other madness fueld by The Clash and Bobby Rydell. Join us on our relaxing week long vacation...and check out Mr_Cultural Rob doing the annual wikipedia changing of the description of what a skee ball is!
Block 08 ..the final block. This will then bring us to the final 8 of the tournament. Does Buster Bust's Loose, Ken Griffey Jr Presents Major League Baseball, Ryne Sandbergs Super Bases Loaded, Road Runner Death Valley Ralley or WCW have what it takes to take out fan favorite Super Metroid...but could one Simon Belmont slash his way through? Find out later!
Block 07. It is not that time yet! Check back during that date! But we shall see some monsters in this bout as Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Mutant League Hockey go face to face along with Donkey Kong Country 2, a fave of the hosts, NCAA Basketball, a very underated game of its time, Battle Toads and Double Dragon, no doubt the ultamite team, the ever classic Arcade Smash..Super Smash TV...and a little game called The Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past. PUre Madness!!
16Bit2: Block 06. This block broke out the Earthbound fans and got its revenge from last years embaresment exit as NBA Jam put up a good fight. Mario Paint made a strong upholding as the #1 seed Mortal Kombat, this time 2, chokes again. **Again if you are reading this we are going to upload the podcasts this friday 07.22 before midnight. Had an issue with our feedburner podcast page**
Block 05 seems easy to most, you have Super Mario World and Final Fantasy 3 in it. Well they did make it to the final of the show leaving Super Mario World taking it via drama over the phone lines. NhL 94 and Killer Instinct, hosts favorites, put up a good fight but could not take down the grunts. Some say Earthworm Jim got jobbed but hey NHL 94 is a very underated game that YOU! didn't play..bitches. *Podcast posting coming soon, its edited, just waiting to load it*
16Bit2: Block 04. In a seed with Donkey Kong Country, games in its way should plan on fearing being knocked out. However, a Second seed by the name of Megaman X brought its fanfare to the tournament and ran through block 04 and DKC. See how other games such as Lemmings, Stunt Race FX, Super Double Dragon, Final Fight 3, Super Star Wars, and Cool Spot.
16Bit2: Block 03. The number one seed Streets of Rage 2 for the Sega Genesis comes in with a tough battle on its hand against what would have alot of fan favorite games in it. Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, and the game that made it to the Final 4 Last year TMNT4: Turtles in Time. Could Streets of Rage 2 handle all of that workload, it was hard to tell, but a game came out of nowhere named Kirby's Adventure that ran through all games but Super Mario RPG, as it moves on to the Final 8.
Well...on paper...a Block Party..meaning...a host and 3 guests join the show should make the show amazing...which it did ( DJZing(Zach), Mr_Cultural(ROB), CyrilTheWolf(Conner))..but they couldn't get past the first matchup. DOOM VS Sonic the HedgeHog pretty much took up 1/2 the total show..with DOOM, an 8th Seed beating a 1 Seed. Listen to the rest to see who wins..oh yea... ( Secret of Mana Wins ).
What a way to kick off the 16 Bit 2 Touranment. We start off with Randy from Elder-Geek.com giving his Randy Rundown of E3. Then we kick start the tournament having 8 games face off as drama comes down to a dope rule ending Sim City's victory over Star Fox to have it face Super Mario Kart in the final matchup of this block. And of course...Super Mario Kart wins it to move on to the Final 8.
This is the last chance to get your games into this 16 Bit Tournament II bracket. The reason for this show is so that there is no whining when the 64 game bracket is introduced and you proclaime...WHY ISN'T THIS GAME IN IT!?! We see such games as TMNT Tournament Fighter, Bulls Vs Blazers, Super Bonk, Space Ace..etc. The object being, if one of these games should be in, which game would you take out and why.
Wow..Awards Show...for the 3rd year.THANK YOU EVERYONE (That is looking at this website now). We had Best Band of the Year, Chiptunes of the Year, Remixed Album of the Year, along with other with Rookie of the Year RWDRAGONS, who has taken the thrown and running with it it to the 8BITX Hall Of Fame: Listen to the amazingness above.
16Bit2: 7th & 8th Seeds: 051811
Podcast Coming Soon!
We took a week off due to family issues and came back strong with the bottom seeds show, which means, games that will make it as the 7th or 8th seed in the tournament, and those who don't deserve it. Oh and check out the neat interview with Dinky Dana, the Most Points World Record Holder via Twin Galaxies.com
Do you smell it in the air...another Tournament coming up...yes the 16 bit Tournament approaching...this podcast features games that should be catagorized as #1 seeds coming in with bragging rights. Such games as, Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Mortal Kombat, Donkey Kong Country, Sonic the HedgeHog, Streets of Rage, StarFox, and more...this podcast features mostly OcRemix songs.
Sadly...we end our opening day series by covering these 6 games. They are, (Sega),Tony Larussa Baseball, (NES), MLB: Major League Baseball, (SNES), ESPN Baseball Tonight, Sports Illustrated: Baseball & Football, Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball, and (n64), Ken Griffey JR. Presents Major Leauge Baseball. This podcast also featured the OC Remix Album: Kong In Concert in honor of support OCR Month. Until next year folks, enjoy the baseball show!
Inning number 3 covers such games as Tommy Lasorda's Baseball (SEGA), Bad News Baseball (NES), Baseball Simulator 1000 (NES), Tecmo Super Baseball (SNES), and Super RBI Baseball (SNES). We also rock out to tracks from The One Ups from their album Super Mario Kart and Intergerlactic Redux.
**Due to technical difficulties we had to take a week off and join our Opening Day set with Inning 2.** We cover the games of Bo Jackson (NES), BS Kirby no Omotya Bako Baseball (NES), Roger Clemens Baseball (NES), Little League World Series (NES), Ryne Sandberg's Super Basesloaded (SNES), and Ken Griffey Jr Presents Major Leagues Baseball (SNES). We also played some videos from our 8BitX concert of X-Hunters, MegaRan, and ArmCannon. This was also the 2nd Year Anniversary of the Phillies Hall of Fame Broadcaster, Harry Kalas, passing away so we played tribute to him because we are from Philadelphia.
We help open the Major League Baseball season by honoring games in the Nes, SNes, and n64 era. This is our 2nd annual year of the "Opening Day" shows, and we cover, NES Baseball, RBI Baseball, Bases Loaded, Base Wars, Tecmo Baseball, and Baseball Stars. We also played a majority of the X-Hunters album as we prepare for the 8BitX Concert...Rock for Anderson!
Well we didn't fully cover the PAX East Trip to Boston correctly because the following week was ST. Patty's Day. This podcast covered the Conference, The Bands, The City of Boston itself, and the all out crazyness that transpired. You'll here live bands such as Arm Cannon, Brental Floss, and the Magfest Jamspace along with our Trip to Cheers and Fenway Park. Some of the music tonight was from The Plasmas as our featured band.
As always stated, we do Holliday Shows the right way! We rolled out our 2nd annual St. Patty's Day show featuring the Best and Worst games to play while intoxicated. We also purchased and rocked out to the St. Patty's Day album, Doctor Octoroc: Shamrocktoroc. This podcast featured games such as Super Mario Kart(SNES), Space Ace(SNES), NBA Jam(SNES), Star Fox(SNES), Urban Champion(NES), Tetris(NES), TMNT2 Arcade(NES), & Ninja Gaiden(NES).
This podcast was filled with some great Stunt Race FX and Donkey Kong Country Mixes for you to choose from. It was also filled with a pumped up Pax East pre Journey.
We round out our Series of Levels with the episode of Levels 3 based off the topic of the Month of February on the Dwelling Of Duels. The games we covered were Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Arcade, Bionic Commando, Rush N' Attack, Ghost N' Goblins, Super Mario Bros. 3, and The Legend of Zelda. We also had a bonus coverage of Super Mario Bros. Level 3-1, the Night Level. The Bionic Commando music of the show was from a CD we purchased at the Dwelling of Duels table at Magfest, Ryan8Bit - Album Title - 2010.8.2. You can purchase this CD [ here ].
We just finished our 2nd episode of Levels: Level 2 based off the topic of the Month of February on the Dwelling Of Duels They were Bad Dudes, CastleVania, Excite Bike, Jackal, ShatterHand, and Double Dragon II. These were the levels you were rewarded with by conquering the first level.
We just finished our first episode of Levels: Level 1 based off the topic of the Month of February on the Dwelling Of Duels. We took 6 first levels of games, Super Mario Bros., Contra, Marble Madness, Top Gun, Double Dragon, and Ninja Gaiden and went through the first levels of these games. We also had a call from DJZing for his 60 Seconds of Suck. **ALSO** Sorry about the sound quality. This podcast had to be rescued from the Audacity Temp folder and replayed and rerecorded, but hey, its saved.
We wrap up a couple of month long tournament by doing a recap show and show you the path of the 8BitX 2 Tournament Champion, Super Mario Bros. 3. Also we had a very entertaining Interview with the Descendants of Erdrick who we met 2 of the band members at Magfest 9, gave us their cd, and we were blown away. Plenty of T&C Surf design talk in this episode, please listen.
The 8Bit Tournament II is over, we have a winner! Super Mario Bros. 3 has survived the wrath of 63 games to last it out and go into our 8BitX Hall of Fame. Although the Metroid vs SMB3 was pretty much a blowout, a drama filled explosion filled the end of the show. Listen in as TenchuX reveales his plan to setup Metroid in the final showdown, or was he just being a sore loser because he saw Metroid getting blown out in votes. A must listen event.
Oh man what a show, not only did we knock out two games to feature a championship show, but we had another great Interview with TPIH: This Place Is Haunted, and also had Tim200x from Year 200x in the chatroom. See how Metroid shamefully gets into the championship match...Did MegaMan 2 get screwed again?
We took the following week off because we headed down to Magfest. We come back and oh what a show. Not only did we kick off the final 8 games and knock out 4 of them, but we had an amazing chatroom participation and Magfest memories, probably one of our best shows ever.
We had such a great tournament so far we needed a show to pretty much show how we got here. 64 games entered, 56 games eliminated. How and why were your favorite games knocked out of the tournament and which are the final 8 left fighting. Due to time though there were only clips played of blocks 1-4, although we discussed the final 4 blocks results.
Due to the upcoming Final 8 portion of the tournament we needed some time to edit some clips for the Final 8 recap show, along with some PC issues we had the best thing we could do was have a suprise request night. The chatroom picked the songs along with the host Will8BitX. Another excellent request night production.
XMAS 2010: 122210
Podcast: Coming SOon!
The show is currently recording, we are aiming for a Friday upload but with Christmas on Sat it may be a delay.
Block 08 ended our entry into the final 8 of the 64 games. Final Fantsy, though not a shocker, won the final block to enter in the a spot where 56 others have failed. Super Mario Bros. 2, Double Dragon, and yes..Urban Champion tried to give it a run for its money. 8BitX's favorite Yo-Noid! goes down in the first matchup like it did in the first tournament...sadly.
Double Dragon II, a classic beat em' up came in most likely winning without a thought had to go up against Guerilla Wars, a game in which Brand0 from the previous Daune and Brand0 wanted to take out for CastleVania III. Burried in the first round was MegaMan, *not MM2*...where were the MegaMan fans at ?!?
Thanksgiving 2010: 120110
Podcast: Coming SOon!
As stated, we never miss a holiday. As soon as its edited we will bring you our Thanksgiving 2010 show.
Halloween 2010: 111710
Podcast: Coming SOon!
Another great Holliday Episode, more info to come, check out the minisite.
Block 06 has been slightly different than most of our blocks so far. This is deemed as our sports block. Due to some technical difficulties before the show we got to a late start so we were forced to record a quicker show, out of most of the format to squeeze it in due to time constraints. Also what played into effect was that there weren't as many remixes for sports songs as there should be, so OCRemix, Dwelling of Duels, etc..please change that..we played alot of the actual nes game music that you would hear while playing the games...and it was fantastic. Once again our #1 Seed Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! took the bracket as expected, but getting to that matchup was what was worth it. The fight between the Blades Of Steel Fans and Tecmo Super Bowl fans took it to the death.
Block 05 was filled with plenty of drama, not so much the final 2 combatants but the Jackal Vs Castle Vania II voting results. This block also came down to a great Super Mario Bros. 3 vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Arcade finale. This block also featured the likes of Ice Hockey, Duck Hunt, and Bad Dudes
Block 04 had a Legend in it..yes The Legend of Zelda. Besides Super Mario Bros. this was probably one of the fan favorites growing up for kids in this generation. But...a game in this block, Super Dodge Ball, is a Cult fan favorite for those who have played it will risk all to represent this game. As you can tell, the ending of this was so dramatic..it took nearly 3 hours. A power packed block of great music. Stay tuned.
8Bit II Block 03: 092210
Podcast: Coming Soon (Hopefully)
Block 03 continued where 02 left off. Childhood games on the line, #1 Seed Mega Man 2, #2 Seed Zelda 2, and #3 Seed Battle Toads all went at it having the matchup come down to Mega Man 2 vs Zelda 2. Does Will8BitX have it in him to dope rule Mega Man 2 beating Zelda 2, possibly his favorite NES game?!? No! because he wasted it dope ruling Renegade over the winner Ghost N' Goblins. BTW, Will8BitX's harddrive crashed in the middle of saving the show so we will see if this will be saved, or just lost in our live memories. Stay Tuned.
Block 02 had games in it that would instantly go at each others throats. The #1 Seed CastleVania, the #2 Seed Metriod, and #3 Seed Ninja Gaiden could all possibly be worthy of winning the block, but which one of your childhood games would come through? Lots of drama in this one pitted Metroid fans vs CastleVania fans...and Metroid pulled one out.
We kicked off the 8Bit Tournament II with a bang. We had the Amazing Brand0 debut another great song - Batman - then went straight into block 01. As expected, Super Mario Bros. ran the block, but unexpectedly, Operation Wolf, the #7 seed, not only took out Tetris, but gave Super Mario Bros. a run for its money.
This show is the last until the opening of the 8Bit Tournament II to get your games in if you don't see them in the bracket. Our chatroom was jam packed because of the interview with The Amazing Brand0 of the now broken up Duane and Brando, an amazingly entertaining interview. We also, from Brand0's suggestion, booteded out TMNT and put in Castlevania III in its place, of course after the chatroom vote.
Coming back from the shore we could not come to an agreement for the 8Bit Tournament II that Tetris deserves a #1 seed and if so who would it take out, the only culperate SMB 1. We needed your help to decide who got the #1 seed, the loser gets the #2 seed. This podcast includes songs from Overlooked remix rather than our traditional OCremix stash.
One show closer to the Jersey Shore, this is the 2nd show of 2 that goes through the maddess of our trip. We also have a great interview with Shael Riley about his Kickstarter charity contribution. After that we cover pinball machines such as Indiana Jones and Spiderman and Skee Ball as Rob changes a wikipedia description live.
The 8BitX crew goes down the shore to WildWood New Jersey. This is the first of 2 shows that we will cover the beach and the boardwalk among the madness of the NES games we experience every trip. We always will start off with the T&C and head right into Baseball Stars to try and beat those dreaded Ninja Blacksox.
Request Nights are always fun. Tonights theme is 8 Bit Techno. Also check out the interview from OCR-emixer HALC on his release of the upcoming Sound of Speed. If you are joining us live you will have a chance to choose songs from our menu and give your ears some very much needed pleasure.
The 2nd show of gamings greatest weapons. Another hell of a time with weapons we feel are very powerful. We discussed the hammer in Donkey Kong, Spreader from Contra, even the Punch Out Star in Mike Tyson's Punch Out! among others.
The Games Greatest Weapons show was a blast. We covered about 9 weapons from classic NES Games like the POW block in the original Mario Bros. game, Machine Gun in Contra, Master Sword in The Legend of Zelda and many others.
070710: Request Night! Contra Song Blowout!
Podcast: Hour 1 - Hour 2
Well this ended up being a classic Requet Night show due to the fact that most of the contra songs couldn't be located in time. Sit back and listen to the randomness that went on this great night.
063010: Games That May Not Make It: II
Podcast: Hour 1 - Hour 2
With 2 special guests in the studio, we dive back into the games that did not make it along with DJ Zing playing some Friday the 13th throughout the show. Also there was crowned a NEW URBAN CHAMPION..DJ Zing took down the Area Champ Will8Bit live.
An episode in which we discuss the upcoming 8Bit Tournament II, the games that may not make the tournament. We discuss which games should be worthy to take the 7th and 8th seeds and those that may fall short. Also a crazy couch in house tetris style story.
We come back after a week off thanks to the Flyers and the Stanley Cup trip and we bust out the Possible #1 Seeds show for the upcoming 8Bit II Tournament.
Wow what a show, close to 3 hours. We had to completley thank -You- the listener with a tribute show to you. We gave out our awards between May 2009 - May 2010.
We had to carry over our Alt.Sports show to a 2nd one, too much info to cover. Check out as we wrap things up with track and field, slalom, T&C Surf Design, Super Dodge Ball and more..
Oh yes, it is Alt.Sports time, also known as Alternative Sports. We covered the great nes games such as Lunar Pool, Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf, Pro Wrestling, and many more. Don't miss the amazing interview with the band EpicNES.
Thanks to the DOD, Dwellng of Duels and their Jaleco Month in April, we decide to give tribute to them as well. And what a show this was, almost reached 3 hours. Jaleco was well worth the tribute, and we didn't even cover the Bases Loaded series due to the previous shows.
We finished out the baseball games and the final Opening Day Tribute show. With some classic games mentioned our featured band was A_Rival. Check out the podcast to hear some great music.
Another classic episode covering ESPN Baseball, BS Kirby no Omotya Bako Baseball, Roger Clemens MVP Baseball, Sports Illustrated: Football and Baseball, Super RBI Baseball, and also a great inveriew from Mustin of The One Ups.
Opening Day, part II : We had so much fun last week with this topic and so much to cover we had to do a bonus week. Some great info and music in this podcast.
2 hours of tecno inspired video game music spun by DJ Zing. Click on the banner above to get a visual perspective of the Club Night we had on the 8BitX.com radio network. The podcast will bring you the music that DJ Zing selected for your listening enjoyment.
A Winner IS YOU! Oh yes we have another game to add to our 8BitX.com Hall of fame. The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time beat out Final Fantasy VII to join Contra and Street Fighter II as tournament champs. It was an amazing show and tournament. We let out a little mention of our up and coming 8 Bit II tournament....comming soon.
Wow we have set ourselves up for the Championship show with 2 games left standing. They are...Zelda: Ocarina of Time vs Final Fantasy VII. Suprisingly the game that mopped the floor was Zelda shutting out Goldeneye 7-0, where as FFVII squeaked by 4-3 with the final vote going to TenchuX via the phone call to the show. If you missed the show, click on the link at the end and click on "The Show" tab to find the sketch of the show.
3264 Final 4: 021710
Podcast: Hour 1 - Hour 2
Shocking results from the first matchup as heavyily favored Mario 64 goes down to Goldeneye 007. Mario Kart 64 also goes down as well leaving ZERO! (0) Mario titles left in the tournament. This is the first time we have seen a non Mario title not make it to the final 4. Join us next show as we are down to 4 games left and 60 have been eliminated.
3264 Recap: 021010
Podcast: Hour 1 - Hour 2
Well we take a break to scramble through the 2 month madness of these 8 Brackets to regroup as we head into the final 8. This show will go through block01-08 to pretty much recap the hours we have spent so far on this tournament. As always these types of shows are fun..join us
3264 Block08: 020310

A horrifiying outcome it was. Resident Evil ended up going one on one against Silent Hill in the horror survival game title of the tournament only to see Resident Evil move on in a coinflip!..yes it was that much of a bloodbath. Ken Griffey Jr for the N64 held its own in the block and a dissapointed outcome to Castlevania 64 left its fans asking what if....the podcast will bring you back there..listen up

What a great night. Twisted Metal 2 came through with some of its fans getting it past to the final 8 along with the battle of DK64 and Zelda: Majora's Mask. Also Shael Riley hung around for the block and gave a few votes himself to contribute after a great interview on Radio Free Gamer.

Who would have thought...A Metal Gear Solid CastleVania Matchup to see who moves on...and for the first time this tournament we have a non # 1 seed moving on to the final 8. Conkers gave a good push but not enough people played it to appreciate its crappy goodness...best game to involve crap in it ;)

Well if you missed this weeks show, be sure to check out the podcast. Even though you are reading this as a spoiler you cannot spoil the experience even if its a recording. Just as anticipated, PANDEMONIUM! GoldenEye and Perfect Dark slugged it out to see the elder GoldenEye moving on to the final 8.
Oh what a first block for the tournament. Not only did Mario 64 reign supreme as the #1 seed, it was nearly taken out by Turok 2, then faced off in the finals against the #7 seed Sim City 2000 who shockingly took out the #2 seed Gran Turismo. What drama.
