8bit Tournament - Block 5 Hour 1
Block 5 held a few heavy hitters of gaming, so somewhere along the way the beloved childhood game was going to get crushed by the sheet weight of popularity and critical acclaim.
We also had a lot of 1st party Nintendo made games in this block, Zelda, Excitebike and Pro Wrestling round out the NES Quality Seal titles for this block.
All that being said we had a mind-numbing UNANIMOUS UPSET in the 1st round!!
This block held the following matchups:
(1) Legend of Zelda vs (8) NES Play Action Football
(4) Tecmo Super Bowl vs (5) Marble Madness
(3) Excitebike vs (6) Pro Wrestling
(2) Paperboy vs (7) Friday the 13th
