Final 8

Battles:
Mario 1 vs Castlevania
Double Dragon II vs Contra
The Legend of Zelda vs TMNT 2
Mega Man vs Super Mario Bros 3

Recap:
In our first matchup of the evening Mario 1 defeated Castlevania 4-2
Next up was the highly anticipated battle which had everyone on edge….Contra took out Double Dragon II in controversial coinflip action after a 3-3 tie
What seemed like a simple battle that had to just be played out, yet here came the underdog and TMNT 2 upset The Legend of Zelda after a 4-4 tie which sent it into a coinflip
Finally for our last spot in the final 4, Mario 3 nearly shutout Megaman 1 with a vote of 5-1 in favor of Mario 3.

Final 4

Games:
Super Mario Bros. vs Contra
TMNT 2 vs Super Mario Bros. 3

Recap:
The win wasn’t without controversy, as the doperule came into effect against Kevin, who went with Mario 1 over Contra. This was unacceptable, as anyone can see that Contra pwns Mario 1. Further controversy as well when 20 mins later protoman emerges from the bathroom to find the debacle in front of him, only to face the fact that we have moved on to the next battle already, thus the challenge was too late, which just put the conspiracy theories out there even more.

TMNT 2 only received 1 vote, guess who, and that left us with Contra vs Super Mario Bros. 3.

Final Battle

Games:
Contra vs Super Mario Bros. 3

Recap:
Contra vs Super Mario 3 came down to a coinflip, Heads being Contra, Tails being Mario 3, Jeff representing Contra and Brandon representing Mario 3.
The coin was flipped, it glinted in the light showing tails possibly a preview of the terror to come, it hits the table and lands solid.
